Anacardium occidentale, the botanical name for the cashew nut tree, is a remarkable tree. Originally from Brazil, the cashew tree is now grown in tropical climates all over the world and available at A Land of Delight Natural Farm & Nursery. It is able to spraul to 46 feet tall and grows into a lush covering.
Ingredients:
- Cashews
- A Land of Delight Raw Local Florida Wildflower Honey
- Spices (Kosher salt, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika are the perfect combination.)
- Fresh Rosemary
Directions:
1. Whisk together the honey, oil, and spices.
2. Fold in the cashews. Stir in part of the rosemary.
3. Arrange the cashews in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 13 to 18 minutes at 350 degrees F. Toss the nuts every 5 minutes.
4. Add a pinch of salt and the remaining rosemary, then toss. DIG IN!
