Cashew Tree

Cashew Tree

Anacardium occidentale, the botanical name for the cashew nut tree, is a remarkable tree. Originally from Brazil, the cashew tree is now grown in tropical climates all over the world and available at A Land of Delight Natural Farm & Nursery. It is able to spraul to 46 feet tall and grows into a lush covering.

Cashews are packed with nutrients and may improve your overall health. Because of the high amounts of copper, magnesium, and manganese, cashews may help with the following:
- may lower the risk of heart disease
- increased energy production
- aid in healthy brain development
- may help develop a strong immune system
- improved bone health
The cashew tree is the perfect addition to your backyard food forest, offering protein, fiber and essential nutrients. All it asks in return is a spot in the full sun with well drained soil.
Come discover remarkable trees at A Land of Delight. Our friendly staff and volunteers look forward to helping you.
