Eric and Jennifer Gonyon originally intended for the farm to be only for their family. They wanted their children to experience the power of seedtime and harvest and to see firsthand that food does not originate from a grocery store. Due to the interest expressed and positive response from friends and from the community, the Gonyons opened the farm up to the general public. The concept of A Land of Delight Natural Farm & Farmer’s Market became a reality.
A Land of Delight Natural Farm offers online classes regarding self-sufficiency. The Farmer's Market is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and Curbside is available Tuesdays through Saturdays. ALOD offers locally grown, USDA organic and conventional produce, raw local honey, specialty gourmet honeys (organically infused), farm-fresh eggs, plus many other staple goods and grocery items.
